Dennis Gerron
and the
Social Development Systems Model
Social Development Systems (SDS) was developed by Dennis Gerron in 1996, in order to give an identity and framework to his many Community Development,Vocational Rehabilitation, Economic Development, Violence Prevention, Business Consulting, Non-profit consultating, Fundraising, Entrepreneurial, and volunteer activities.
The main idea behind SDS is that, as with most things, complex social issues, can benefit from a fresh perspective with a streamlined business model paradigm.
The goal is not to replace, or compete with the many wonderful government and nonprofit agencies engaged in addressing these issues, but rather to partner with them, and build lasting relationships that enhance, and in some cases, expand, the efforts to better serve the needs of those populations identified as in need of their services.
Dennis has an extensive background in working with youth, people with disabilities, correctional facilities, Substance abuse counseling, businesses, nonprofits, City, County, State, and Federal government agencies, network marketing, e-commerce, Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain technology, as well as community and economic development projects, at the local, county, state, national, and international levels.
Thanks to the power of the internet Dennis has been able to expand the reach and scope of his services to a truly global level. With contacts in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, U.K., Ireland, Australia, Germany, Panama, India, the Phillipines, Israel, Nigeria, Kenya, Dubai, Iraq, and Pakistan, Dennis has fostered an impressive global network. He is currently initiating the International Coalition on Economic Development (ICED). The goal of this coalition is to address economic needs all over the world.
